I’ve read some Cordwainer Smith short stories lately, and am thrilled. If you’re interested in sci-fi, then yes, that’s a recommendation.

(The ones I’ve read are found in the “We the Underpeople” anthology published by Baen.)

@mntmn do I understand correctly that this would allow for example putting a bitstream for a RISC-V core in the FPGA, and then having that as the main CPU for the Reform? If yes, that would be extremely cool, and I can already imagine people doing awesome stuff like “hey, this Reform is actually a MSX/Spectrum/Amiga/whatever laptop” :blobaww:

been working at home in the morning on the Kintex-7 module for MNT Reform. using KiCAD on MNT Reform with GPU acceleration.

swapped in the first production keycaps (here showing different brightness levels). these are really nice to type on!

I have dogfooded, tested and carried around my personal MNT Reform every day for the last weeks and am ready to finalize all production firmware and the system image for the first release now.
